[left]An Orthodox Jewish man was stabbed a short while ago in Brooklyn, sources told JP.

FDNY responded to a call of a male who was stabbed outside 172 Montague and Clinton street at around 1:10 pm. They transported the victim to Lutheran Medical Center in critical, but stable condition.


He is currently undergoing surgery for his injuries.

Sources told JP that the victim was stabbed by a former employee. NYPD detectvies are at the scene investigating.

Police have a suspect in custody and are interviewing him at this point. The knife that was used for the stabbing was also recovered at the scene.
