Proposal made by Daniel Friedman and Yuval Elbashan, Friedman is a right winger, and Elbashan was PM Lapid's preferred choice to head the Israeli national insurance institute, so he pretty left wing.

But when they presented their plan it was turned down by THE LEFT Lapid and Gantz!
Elbashan was accused of being "naive" and that the plan is "nothing but just hot air".

Dr. Giora Yaron is a prominent Hi-Tech entrepreneur, he was on the commission who worked on the Friedman Elbashan proposal, he also addressed the opposition in the Knesset "I've been conducting negotiations before all you amateurs were even born...... All we want to do (with this proposal) was to find a solution, but if you want to destroy the country then I can tell you, that we're definitely headed there"
