In three separate instances, the U.N. found small quantities of rockets hidden in it's schools,
two points, 1) those schools were not in use at those times as all school in gaza is cancelled duo to the war, so no kids would be in the vicinity, let alone in the school building,

Not once were any rockets or other projectiles fired from UN schools.

Italian journalist Gabriele Barbati said he was able to speak freely about witnessing a Hamas misfire that killed nine children at the Shati camp, confirming the Israel Defense Forces version of events, but only after leaving Gaza, “far from Hamas retaliation.”

On Twitter, Barbati, Jerusalem Correspondent for Radio Popolare Milano, and a former reporter for Sky Italia, in Beijing, said, “Out of #Gaza far from #Hamas retaliation: misfired rocket killed children yday [yesterday] in Shati. Witness: militants rushed and cleared debris.”

Residential areas? That's certainly true, I mean of they fire from northern gaza, (so as to get farther in Israel) they would by simple geography be firing from residential areas, 1.8 million residents in that strip of land,

I followed this story closely on Twitter.com, as I wasn't sure my self, at first
(I put in search #Israel)
There were claims and counter claims, with the official idf account repeatedly claiming that it was not one but "two" rockets misfired by Hamas that both landed 'magically' in that UN location,
And repeatedly 'insisting' that there were no Israeli bombings in that whole erea,
A few hours later the official idf account changed it's story, to Hamas firing from near the UN building and that ultimately is was hamas' fault,

A mainstream American journalist tweeted live, that he saw the plane firing the missiles , while 'there on the ground',
