The Orange County Sherif's office and FBI Agents reportedly raided two Monroe apartments today as part of a ongoing massive voter fraud investigation.
The Sheriff's Office reportedly issued eight arrest warrants for eight Kiryas Joel Residents on 23 counts of Felony Criminal voter fraud.
sources tell Channel12.com that one of the arrest warrants issued is for the Grand Rabbi Aron Teitelbaum who's the Religious Leader of the Village Of Kiryas Joel.
The FBI confiscated more than two hundred fake national identification cards apparently meant to allow people to vote more than once, ringers to vote for people who are not residents of Orange County to vote in the upcoming local elections.
“We are checking these ID cards. Some of the people named on the cards are from Brooklyn so we think they might have used the ID cards or they intended to use them but we don’t know yet. We have to check it thoroughly,” District Attorney David M. Hoovler told Channel12
During a Town Hall hearing last week, officials said that the Town had uncovered attempts by non-Kiryas Joel residents to register to vote in Kiryas Joel, but claimed it had successfully blocked them all from doing so.
