[left]A bunch of parents, frustrated by the tyranny and manipulation of the current system, are trying to get together and open the first-ever parent-controlled Jewish education system in Williamsburg.
Mission
Build boys and girls schools that are controlled by the parents, and with a purpose to serve the parents, not the other way.
Description
This school system is being built from the ground up, with a structure that is to be controlled by a board directly elected by the parents, not by a community or community leader. The board will represent the parents that voted them in, and supervise every step the school takes.
The board, elected yearly, will provide a transparent environment to the rest of the parent body.
Quarterly reports will be given to each individual parent, clearly addressing budgeting, decisions and state of the organization.
Parents will also have the option of creating a "Father's Board" that will have suggestive voice with the board.
Serious and hard-to-make decisions will be put for a full vote where every parent's voice will be heard.
